YMAX uses a complex covered call options strategy, read the Product Disclosure Statement carefully before investing. It holds Australia's top 20 blue-chip stocks and sells call options over them, collecting option premiums in exchange for capping the upside gains. The result is a high yield from option premiums, paid monthly; the level varies with market conditions and is not guaranteed. The trade-off is significant: when the underlying stocks rally strongly, YMAX lags considerably behind because those gains have been sold via the options. YMAX is income-optimised at the expense of capital growth.
