GBND holds a diversified portfolio of investment-grade global green bonds, fixed-rate debt whose proceeds fund environmental and climate-related projects, tracking the Solactive Global IG Fixed Rate Green Bond Index (AUD Hedged). Issuers are predominantly European sovereigns, supranationals such as the European Union, and corporates. At 0.39% per year it offers single-trade access to global fixed income with a green-use-of-proceeds focus, and the portfolio is hedged back to Australian dollars to reduce currency risk. Distributions are paid quarterly; the running yield is approximately 2.5% (running yield differs from a trailing distribution yield and is not guaranteed).
