LNAS is a complex, actively managed geared ETF, it is fundamentally different from a standard ETF. Rather than holding shares, LNAS invests in long E-mini Nasdaq-100 futures contracts to deliver exposure of approximately 200-275% of its net asset value. This means when the Nasdaq-100 rises 1%, LNAS aims to rise roughly 2-2.75%. When it falls 1%, LNAS falls approximately 2-2.75%. LNAS is managed by Global X (formerly ETFS Management). Important: leveraged ETFs suffer from leveraged decay, the daily rebalancing of futures means that over time, returns diverge significantly from a simple multiple of the index. LNAS is designed for sophisticated investors with a short-term tactical view, not as a buy-and-hold investment. Read the Product Disclosure Statement carefully before investing.
