FLOT holds floating rate bonds, bonds whose interest payments reset periodically to track market rates. When rates rise, income from FLOT rises; when rates fall, income falls. This makes FLOT more resilient to interest rate rises than traditional bond ETFs like VAF, which can fall in capital value when rates increase. FLOT holds investment-grade Australian and global corporate floating rate bonds, mostly major bank paper. Monthly income.
