FANG holds just 10 equally-weighted companies: Meta, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, Google, Tesla, Nvidia, Microsoft, Snowflake and CrowdStrike. It is highly concentrated and carries significant downside risk in technology sector downturns; the structure differs materially from a diversified core portfolio holding. Equal weighting means Snowflake gets as much space as Apple, which creates a very different risk profile from market-cap weighted funds. The fund has risen sharply when technology has rallied and fallen sharply in downturns. FANG fell over 50% in 2022. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future returns.
