IHVV is IVV with the currency risk removed. You get the S&P 500's 503 largest US companies but your returns reflect purely the stock market performance without AUD/USD exchange rate movements. When the Aussie dollar rises, IVV investors lose out in AUD terms, IHVV holders don't. At 0.10% it's a very cost-effective hedge on top of S&P 500 exposure.
