QLTY gives you exposure to approximately 160 of the world's highest-quality companies outside Australia, selected using four financial quality measures: return on equity, debt-to-capital, cash flow generation and earnings stability. The result is a portfolio tilted toward large profitable companies, think Lam Research, ASML, Procter & Gamble and Visa, with a meaningful technology and industrials weighting. At 0.35% it costs more than a plain global index fund like VGS (0.18%) but you are getting a quality-screened portfolio rather than pure market-cap weighting. With over $900 million in assets it is a well-established fund. Currency risk applies as the fund is unhedged.
