QHAL is the hedged version of QUAL. You get the same quality-screened global companies, businesses with high return on equity, stable earnings, and low debt, but with AUD/USD currency movements removed through hedging. Like VGAD vs VGS, QHAL has delivered higher returns than QUAL recently as the AUD strengthened. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future returns. QHAL provides pure quality-factor returns without currency noise.
